Memberships
At AMC, we are
committed to maintain the highest level of environmental responsibility.
Part of our efforts are guided by the associations we are members
of as well as the agencies we believe in:

WEPSI's
mission is to engage the participation of a wide variety of
stakeholders in order to design a new system and approach
that will:
- Minimize
environmental impacts throughout the life cycle of electronic
products.
- Keep
electronic equipment out of the waste stream without ratepayers
and taxpayers having to pay the full costs.

The
policy of the Best Business Bureau
is to act as an objective agency; therefore the BBB cannot recommend
a specific company, product or service. It does not compare
businesses against each other, but rather evaluates businesses
against their standards - which clearly speak to the character
and competence of the business. |

The
IAER was formed to
represent and serve the interests of the electronics recycling
industry as a key element in the development of an effective
and efficient infrastructure for managing the life cycle of
electronics products. One area in particular that is important
to the future of the industry, is the support and promotion
of high standards of environmental quality and regulatory compliance
as well as high quality business practices an IAER
priority. |
We are also
involved with and follow guidelines from the following organizations
and institutions:
Environmental
Technology Council (ETC)
Hazardous Materials Control Resources
Institute
National Recycling Coalition
(NRC)
Solid Waste Association of North
America (SWANA)
U.S. Environmental Agency (EPA)
